I grew up in Long Beach, California, always drawn to the natural world—the ocean, mountains, and desert all felt like home. Nature always brought me back to a place of ease, but I did not ever question or wonder why. Following the path of life presented to me, I wound up studying Biomedical Engineering in college. It was here that I started to see the wonders of the human body and marvel at its intelligence. Life was full. On the outside, one would say I was thriving. Yet beneath the surface, I carried fear, insecurities, and a quiet emptiness I couldn’t seem to fill.
For much of my life, I searched outside of myself for relief and fulfillment—chasing perfection through achievements, relationships, adventures, and self-improvement. Over time, that search led me further from myself. I struggled with eating disorders, addiction, people-pleasing, and a deep lack of self-worth. My physical health reflected this imbalance as well, showing up as severe acne with a picking obsession, digestive issues and constipation, food intolerances, stubborn weight gain, and chronic discomfort. I tried everything that promised relief—medications, diets, skincare, and self-help—but nothing created lasting change.
My healing began on my yoga mat and deepened even further when I was introduced to Ayurveda in 2018. For the first time, I was offered a different perspective—not one that tried to fix me, but one that invited me to understand myself. Ayurveda showed me how to look inward and recognize the connection between my daily choices and how I felt, physically, mentally, and emotionally.
With the guidance of Myra Lewin at Hale Pule Ayurveda & Yoga, I began to shift my habits slowly and intentionally—how I ate, how I lived, and how I related to myself. As I made these changes, my symptoms began to melt away, and something I had been searching for my entire life emerged: a deep and steady sense of peace.
Experiencing this transformation, I felt a calling to share this work with others. I dedicated three years to studying and embodying these practices, completing my 600-hour Ayurvedic Health Counselor training with Hale Pule in 2025.
Today, I offer this work through 1:1 consultations, workshops, yoga, and meditation. My intention is to guide others back to themselves—to help them understand their bodies, shift their habits, and reconnect with a deeper sense of balance and ease.
I believe Ayurveda offers us a map back home. When we begin to live in harmony with nature and with ourselves, we find freedom—freedom from symptoms, from striving, and from the patterns that keep us stuck. From that place, we are no longer just surviving—we are able to truly live and thrive.
